1. Choose your organization

Use the Company portal to register a company staff account, then create a shipper company or carrier fleet. Owners and staff do not need driver registration. Existing shipper and driver organization members can sign in with their existing credentials. Staff join through company invitations; operating drivers keep their driver accounts. Select the organization you want to connect before creating credentials or mailbox connections.

2. Check your permissions

Organization roleWhat you can do
OwnerConfigure API keys, mailboxes, workflows, recipients, teams, company verification and company money movements.
AdminManage organization jobs, quotes and dispatch; review email drafts and recover deliveries.
Fleet submanagerManage operations, drafts and deliveries for assigned teams.
Driver memberUse existing driver flows for their assigned jobs and their own driver-pay quotes.
Connection setup requires the organization Owner role. Ask your owner to configure the connection if those sections are unavailable.

3. Choose how to connect

  • REST API: send structured loads and quotes from your dispatch system or business software.
  • Signed webhooks: receive job, quote and payment events at your HTTPS endpoint.
  • Email: connect Gmail or Outlook, or forward requests to an organization intake address. Incoming content becomes drafts for review.
  • Automation: use custom HTTP requests in n8n, Make or Zapier.

4. Review your first request

Use an agreed test environment and the example files before connecting real dispatch work. Replace placeholder IDs, addresses and credentials with the details for that environment. Confirm the organization, freight details and payout recipient before submitting any live request.

For API access, start with a read request to confirm credentials and scopes. For email intake, review a draft, correct its fields and explicitly confirm publication or quote submission.

Check API access (Shell)
curl 'https://YOUR_GATEWAY/api/integrations/v1/jobs' \
  -H 'Authorization: Bearer hm_org_REPLACE_WITH_KEY'

5. Follow updates

Configure webhooks or outgoing workflow emails for the events your operation needs. Use the delivery log to inspect attempts and errors. A notification delivery status is separate from the job status.
